when it’s snowing hospital gowns and wedding veils across my window I think of someone far away and I don’t even think of touching them I just think about how they lie in bed wondering in the semi darkness and how the covers shape overandaround their body and how they’re absolutely complete in their own life and how I shouldn’t wreck it saying anything or bringing attention to my own small shape that doesn’t belong anywhere next to or near them.
